Art, Mark, Eileen, Brent, Michelle, Ethan, Cole, Jenna, and Rylan My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Bernice was such an amazing person and a very influential figure in my life and the lives of so many others. She taught us, coached us, drove us all over the country to play sports, but most of all she supported and genuinely cared about us. Bernice truly cared about our lives. That didn't change when we went off to university. It didn't change each time she watched one us us get married, and it didn't change with each new child she met that belonged to our group except that each time it added one more person she would genuinely care about. She would always take the time to ask me how I was doing and not in that obligatory way. She really wanted to know, and if I was vague, she would ask more questions because she was concerned. I hope Bernice felt a sense of pride in herself each time one of us accomplished some of our goals, knowing that she helped us get there. Bernice will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
