Obert is survived by two sisters: Alma Ellerbeck and Dorothy Downes both of Calgary, Alberta; and one brother, Sherman and his wife Elsie of Rivercourse, Alberta, as well as numerous other friends and relatives. Donations in memory of Obert may be made to a Charity of the Donor's choice.
