Obituary of Ruby Olsen

Ruby Helen Olsen passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital on August 4, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Ruby is survived by three sons: Miles (Randa) Olsen of Lloydminster, Ardell (Lynn) Olsen and Peter (Yvonne) Olsen of Hillmond, one sister Mabel Leeson as well as numerous other relatives. The funeral service for was conducted from St. John’s Anglican Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. with Arnold Leeson officiating. The hymns sung were “Beyond the Sunset,” and “Safe in the Arms of Jesus” accompanied on the organ by Pat Skinner. Honorary pallbearers were: George & Doreen Dixon, Alphonse & Tilly Hoegl, Sheila Cook, Linda Tremblay, Dora Newman, Ralph & Doreen Desroisier and Joan Noble. Active pallbearers were: Phil Richardson, Kirk Thompson, Neuley Olsen, Nadine Harbidge, Amber Olsen, MacKenzie Olsen, Erik Olsen and Darby Olsen. Interment followed in the Lloydminster Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.
