B I O G R A P H Y ZUNTI: Casper Zunti Jr. passed away in the University of Alberta Hospital on Friday, May 12, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Casper is survived by: his wife Aline of Lloydminster; his children: Marianne & Neil Aamodt of Kelliher; Alice Zunti of Lloydminster; his step-children Evelyne & Marcel Seewalt of Lloydminster, Gisele & Jim Morrison of Edmonton; Alin & Glenda Rousseau of Battleford; Martin & Debbie Rousseau of North Battleford; Carmen & Chris Gorbert of Innisfail; Esther & Dave Fudger of Lashburn; Beatrice & Ellis Greenley of Lloydminster; Murielle Elliott of North Battleford; Judith & Garth Babcock of Edmonton and Louise & Trent Michelman of Outlook; thirty-two grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers as well as numerous other relatives. Casper was predeceased by: his 1st wife Mary; one son Yvon Rousseau, one sister: Sister Salesia Zunti and infant twin brothers. A prayer service was conducted from St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 8:30 P.M. with Father Lawrence Agorchukwu officiating. Mass of Christian Burial was conducted from St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. with Father Jan Sobkowicz officiating. A eulogy was given by Neil Aamodt. The leader of songs was Marlene Risling accompanied on the organ by Donna Weston. Honorary pallbearers were all his close friends and relatives. Active pallbearers were: Jody Gobert, Brian Aamodt, Christopher Seewalt, Nicholas Fudger, Michael Rousseau, Addison Babcock and Paul Seewalt. Interment followed in the Holy Rosary Cemetery, near Reward, Saskatchewan. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family would like to extend thank you's to Dr. Jill Lakins, Dr. Ray Rogers, all the hospital and Home Care staff for their care and attention. Thank you to everyone who sent cards, food, prayers and mass cards, thank you to Spiro's Family Restaurant for their generosity and kindness. Thanks to the C.W.L. ladies of St. Anthony's in Lloydminster and C.W.L. ladies of St. Peter's in Unity. Thank you to the musicians at the funeral service and McCaw Funeral Service for their gentle and personal care. Thank you to Father Lawrence, Father Jan and Father John Zunti for their guidance and prayers in our time of sorrow. Donations in memory of Casper may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
