Obituary of Arthur Babbage

BABBAGE: Arthur 'Art' James Babbage passed away quietly after a courageous battle of heart and lung troubles at the University of Alberta Hospital on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at the age of 81 years.
Art is survived by: his remaining sisters: Gladys Landry, Florence Seabrook and Olive OBrien as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Art was predeceased by his parents William and Lillian Babbage, his brother George and Mildred Babbage, and younger sister Iris and Jim Munro, brother-in-law Henry Landry and nephew Dale Landry.
The funeral service for Art was conducted from the Kitscoty Agriplex, Kitscoty, Alberta on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Harold Martin officiating.
A eulogy was given by Pat O'Brien.
Hymns sung were "Amazing Grace," and "How Great Thou Art," accompanied on the organ by Donna Eyben.
Interment followed in the Kitscoty Cemetery.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.
