Obituary of Dennis Bowden

B I O G R A P H Y BOWDEN: Dennis Reginald Bowden passed away in St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at the age of 74 years. Dennis is survived by: his siblings: Peggy Gallanger, Winnie and Maurice Gall, Betty Joy, Melvin Bowden, Sylvia Boddy and Doreen and Stan Pollom as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The memorial service for Dennis was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, April 28, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Anne Laird officiating. A eulogy was given by Marlene Roy and Sharon Napper. Hymns sung were "The Old Rugged Cross," and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee," accompanied on the organ by Marj Kilback. The urn bearer was Melvin Bowden. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster will administer the funeral arrangements. Special thank you goes to Pastor Anne Laird for the service, organist Marj Kilback, Marlene Roy and Sharon Napper for doing the eulogy and Melvin Bowden for being the urn bearer. Thank you also to the ladies of the Knox Church for putting on the lunch after the service, the hospital and staff of the Maidstone Hospital and the St. Paul Hospital in Saskatoon.
