B I O G R A P H Y ALLEN: Harvey Lorne Edward Allen of Blackfoot, Alberta passed away at home on March 8, 2006 at the age of 62 years. He was born on October 4, 1943 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. He is survived by five brothers: Wilmer and Grace Allen of Lloydminster, John and Kaye Allen of Marwayne, Stanley Allen of Two Hills, David and May Allen of Spruce Grove and Gerald Allen of Oshawa, Ontario; two sisters: May and Charles Fanthorpe and Anna and Jim Clayton and sister-in-law: Florence Allen as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Harvey was predeceased by: his father Earl in 1965, his mother Emma in 1989 and his brother Fred in 1999. The funeral service for Harvey Allen was conducted from The McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster on Tuesday, March 14 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Norm Laird officiating. A eulogy was written by Gerald Allen and given by Darrel Allen. The hymns sung were Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art accompanied on the organ by Marj Kilback. The pallbearers were: Glenn Clayton, John Allen, Lane Allen, Darrel Allen, Kenny Allen and Edward Fanthorpe. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family would like to thank the Kitscoty RCMP, Dr. Rogers and Dr. Jill Lakins, McCaw Funeral Service, Steve Plandowski who so willingly plowed out the road into the farm, the Presbyterian Ladies for the lovely lunch served after the service and to all who expressed their condolences in various ways.
