DOBSON: Reginald Francis Dobson passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Monday, December 12, 2005 at the age of 92 years.

Reginald Francis Dobson is survived by: his loving wife of 70 years Grace; one daughter Barbara and her husband Larry Bright of Lloydminster; one brother Eric Nicholson of Alberta Beach; one sister Barbara Cavanagh of Calgary; four sisters-in-law Nora Nicholson of Lloydminster; Frances Nicholson of Delta; Ardis Dobson of Paradise Valley; Mable MacKay of Lloydminster as well as numerous other relatives.

He was predeceased by his father Arthur Dobson, his mother Lois Nicholson, his stepfather L.B. Nicholson, one sister Margaret Tercier and four brothers Parke Dobson, Burnie, Arthur and Hugh Nicholson.

The funeral service for Reg was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, December 16, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend David Turvey officiating.

The eulogy was given by Bill Dobson followed by his solo “Amazing Grace.”

Hymns sung were “Abide With Me,” and “The Old Rugged Cross,” accompanied on the organ by Bev Haydu.

Active pallbearers were: Bill Dobson, L.B.Nicholson, Dick Haydu, Gordon Kuhn, Cecil MacKay and Nicholas Dobson.

Interment followed in the Oxville Cemetery.

McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.
