B I O G R A P H Y
LOTHROP: Lorne Ralph Lothrop passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at the age of 62 years.
Lorne is survived by: his loving wife Marlene; two children: Bobbi and her husband Jason Carde of Lloydminster and Cory Lothrop and his wife Lisa also of Lloydminster; two granddaughters Brittany and Sydney as well as numerous other relatives.
Lorne was predeceased by his parents Byron and Annie Lothrop.
The funeral service for Lorne was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Anne Laird officiating.
Hymns sung were The Old Rugged Cross, and What A Friend We Have In Jesus, accompanied on the organ by Irene Knowlson.
Honorary pallbearers were: Garritt Hallborg, Jamie Hallborg, Gord Hallborg, Doug Austin, Alfie Newman and Gayle Carde.
The urnbearer was Cory Lothrop.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.

The family of the late Lorne Lothrop thanks everyone for their kindness and support during these last difficult months. Thank you to Doctor Chan and nurses for their care of Lorne. Thank you for the phone calls, visits, cards, food, flowers, donations, and for just being there. Thanks to Pastor Anne Laird for her comforting service and to organist Irene Knowlson. Thanks to Wayne Morrissey for reading the eulogy and sharing his memories. Also thank you to Gayle and Edith Carde for sharing their message to Lorne with us. Thanks also to the United Church ladies for providing the lunch. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
