Obituary of Marion Stoeckli

Marion (Mamie) McLeod Stoeckli was born Feb. 18, 1909 Midlothain, Scotland.
Passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005 at the age of 96 years.
Marion (or Mamie as she was lovingly called) came to Canada in 1927 with her parents, and two brothers Thomas and Frank.
She married Gus Stoeckli in 1949, and had one son John in 1952, She was loving, caring, and hard working person who enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She also enjoyed visits from her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She resided in her own home then moved to the lodge, until she became ill then moved to the
nursing home where she passed away.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, husband Gus, her two brothers, Frank and Tom.
She is survived by her son John (Julia); two nephews: David and Ian Rutherford, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and numerous other children who called her grandma. Plus numerous friends.
She will be missed deeply.

H is for the Heart of purest gold.
E is for her Eyes, with love-light shining.
R means Right, and right shell always be.

I would like to give a thank you to Dr. Mulder, nurses of the riverside memorial hospital and the home care workers that care for Mamie Stoeckli for all these years.
Thank you to all her friends that came to visit her and very special thank you to Ken and Corrine Cockburn for being there and taking her to her appointments all these years. To Lucy and Gary Dopson for being good neighbors for all these years.
And to the Ladies of the Coffee Party that came every Thursday you will be remembered in our hearts and prayers thank you so much.
