B I O G R A P H Y STANYER: William John "Bill" Stanyer passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Bill is survived by: his loving wife Reta of Lloydminster; two sons: John of Lloydminster and his daughters Melissa of Calgary and Aurlee Jo of St. Albert and her son Jason; Rick of Lloydminster and his son Cody; three daughters: Lynn and her husband Wayne Moore of Lloydminster; their children: Micheal of Lloydminster, Cory and his wife Christine of Chestermere, Stacy and her husband Eric Weibel and their son Ashton of Lloydminster; Cheryl and her husband Doug Lowrie of Lloydminster and their children: Shawna and her husband Ian Keichinger and their sons: Jayden, Dallan, Kian and Blake, Tyson and his wife Jenna of Lloydminster, Vernon and his wife Kendra also of Lloydminster; Tammy Beddow of Lloydminster and her children: Amanda and her husband Colin of Baiverts, Newfoundland and David of Red Deer; one sister Mabel McDougall of Lloydminster; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law as well as several nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by: one son Fred, one grandson Robert Beddow; two brothers Ken and Vern and four brothers-in-law. The funeral service for Bill was conducted from St. John's Anglican Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend David Turvey officiating. Hymns sung were "Abide With Me," and "Amazing Grace," accompanied by Pat Skinner on the organ. Special CD music "The Rose," was also played. Special music "You’re My Best Friend" was requested by brother-in-law Eddie and dedicated to Reta. Pallbearers were: Stan Pawsey, Tom McDougall, Bob McBride, Wayne Pawsey, Gordie Massey and Wayne Moore. Honorary pallbearers were Grandchildren: Micheal Moore, Cory and Christine Moore, Stacy and Eric Weibel, Shawna and Ian Keichinger, Tyson Lowrie and Jenna, Vernon Lowrie and Kendra, David Beddow, Amanda Beddow and Colin, Melissa, Aurlee-Jo and Jason, Cody Tindall; Great Grandchildren: Jayden, Dallan, Kian and Blake Keichinger, Ashton Weibel. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family of Bill Stanyer would like to thank Dr. Adelle Naude for the care that she has given Bill. We also thank the nurses and hospital staff on the third floor for the kindness and compassionate care that you gave to our dad and husband. We also thank you for making us kid’s as comfortable as possible when we stayed with dad during the night. Thank you to the ambulance attendants for allowing Cheryl to ride along with Bill for his trip to the University hospital. Thank you for making Bill comfortable during his trip. Thank you to the home care nurses for your visits to the Hemstock residence. Thank you Rev. Turvey for the wonderful service and Pat Skinner for playing the organ. Thank you Tom MacDougall for giving the eulogy, Thank you to the pallbearers, the ladies for catering lunch, for all the cards, flowers, donations and phone calls, visits and food brought to Lynn’s house. A special thank you to McCaw’s for your professionalism and compassion during our time of sorrow. We will not forget the service and the help that you were so willing to give. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
