B I O G R A P H Y PIPER: Gordon Lloyd Piper passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at the age of 51 years. Gordon is survived by: his loving wife Marion; his daughter Jeness of Lloydminster; his son Greg also of Lloydminster; his mother Marjory of Sandy Beach, Alberta; his father Allen of Edmonton; his brothers: David of Edmonton; Brian of Austin, Texas; Scott of Kelowna; Michael of Vancouver; his sisters: Kathy of Edmonton; Francine of Sandy Beach, Alberta; Jill of Morinville; Joan of Stony Plain; Michelle of Hamilton, Ontario; one brother-in-law Wesley Armstrong of Edmonton; one sister-in-law Joan of Houston, Texas; his mother-in-law Gene Armstrong of Edmonton. Gordon was predeceased by his brother Leonard. A private family memorial service for Gordon was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Norm Laird officiating. A eulogy was given by Michael Piper and John Johnson. Family reflections were given by Greg Piper. A solo "On Eagle's Wings" was sung by Kent Fleming accompanied by Brad Berkan. A CD Melody of Country Music was played which was arranged by Jeness Piper. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Bank for the Piper children. Card of Thanks The family would like to thank McCaw’s, Reverend Laird, everyone who sent flowers, donations and food to the house. Thank you to Kent Fleming for the beautiful solo.
