B I O G R A P H Y MARSHALL: Donald James “Don” Marshall passed away at his home on Friday, April 29, 2005 at the age of 65 years. Don is survived by: his loving wife Marion of Neilburg; three sons: Carman and his wife Kelly of Marsden and their children: Darby and Carley; Trevor and his wife Joanne of Neilburg and their children: Rory, Chloe and Wyatt; Waylon and his fiancee` Tammy of Lloydminster and their son Brock; two sisters: Patricia and her husband Alex Janko of North Battleford; Doreen and her husband Derrill Goulet of Okotoks; two sisters-in-law: Edith and her husband Les Christensen of Neilburg and Irene Carter of Whitecourt; two brothers-in-law: Charlie Carter and his wife Jean of Leduc; Ron Carter and his friend Flora of Saskatoon as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The service of memory for Don was conducted from the Neilburg Community Hall with Tom Poppleton officiating. A eulogy was given by Ken Staniforth. Special music “The Dance,” was sung by Derrill Goulet, “Down By The Bay,” was played by Darby Marshall and “The Cowboy Rides Away” was also played. The recessional was “Down Yonder.” Honorary pallbearers were Grandchildren: Rory Marshall, Darby Marshall, Carley Marshall, Chloe Marshall, Wyatt Marshall and Brock Marshall. Active pallbearers were: Carman Marshall, Trevor Marshall, Waylon Marshall, Allan Smithson, Keith Hinch, Les Christensen and Rory Marshall. Interment followed in the East Manitou Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks A very special thanks to First Responders - Laura Herle & Marcie Brennan and ambulance attendants for responding so quickly. We are forever grateful to friends, relatives and neighbors for all their support through phone calls, kind words, food and flowers brought to the house. Many thanks to officiant, Tommy Poppleton, for his comforting service, the pallbearers and six grandchildren for honorary. Thank you to Derrill for his special song, to granddaughter Darby for her piano selection for Grandpa and to Ken for giving his warm, heartfelt and personal eulogy. A very special thanks to the East Manitou Ladies Club for their bountiful lunch and to everyone for all their beautiful cards, flowers, and donations received in Don’s memory. A thank you, also to Dale and Glenn McCaw at McCaw Funeral Service for their thoughtfulness and professionalism at such a difficult time. Everyone’s caring and thoughtfulness will forever be remembered.
