B I O G R A P H Y
PARKYN: Harold Joseph Parkyn passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital on Sunday, April 17, 2005 at the age of 88 years.
Harold is survived by: his loving wife Helen of Lloydminster; three children: Robert and his wife Teresa of Breton; Linda and her husband Gordon Hall of Lloydminster; Don and his wife Pam also of Lloydminster; five grandchildren; two great granddaughters; three brothers; two sisters as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Harold was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, April 22, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Anne Laird officiating.
Hymns sung were "In The Garden," and "On Eagle's Wings," lead by Marlene Risling and accompanied on the organ by Irene Knowlson.
Special CD music "Seven Spanish Angels," was also played.
Susan Stefanuk bagpiped "Amazing Grace," as a recessional.
Honorary pallbearers were all those who shared in Dad's life.
Active pallbearers were: Nicole Charlton, Alicia Parkyn, Ashley Parkyn, Andrea Parkyn, Amanda Tuplin and Francis Tuplin.
Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Chapelski, Dr. Kerlis, the ambulance attendants and the Nursing Staff of the Lloydminster Hospital for the excellent care they gave to Harold and to those who visited him in hospital.
Thank you to Pastor Anne Laird for your kindness and thoughtful words at the service.
Special thanks to Marlene Risling who lead us in song, Irene Knowlson the organist, Susan Stefanuk for playing the bagpipes and to the United Church Ladies for the lunch.
Thank you to the pallbearers and to Granddaughter Andrea who composed and read Grandpas Memories.
Thank you to all who sent flowers, donations, cards and the food sent to the house.
A special thank you to Dale McCaw for his comfort and understanding and professional services and to all who attended the funeral service your presence was greatly appreciated.
Harold will sadly and forever be missed.
