B I O G R A P H Y LOYIE: Bruce Peter Loyie passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at the age of 58 years. Bruce is survived by: four children: Amber and her husband John LePage; Leanne Carlson; Brandyn Loyie and Sheldon Loyie; two granddaughters: Shenoah and Shelby LePage; two sisters: Linda and her husband Ron Schillabeer and Violet and her husband Rob Groenen and their families and the Garneau Families. Bruce was predeceased by: his Father Leo in 1976; his mother Victoria in 2001; two brothers: Joseph in 1958 and Dale in 1981; two sisters: Lilly in 1960 and Lynora in 2004. The memorial service for Bruce was conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, April 22, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. with Father Len Cadieux officiating. Hymns sung were "How Great Thou Art," "The Old Rugged Cross," and "Ave Maria," lead by Kathryn Taylor and accompanied on the organ by Donna Weston. Bill Cornfoot played the bagpipes. Honorary pallbearers were all of Bruce's family and friends. The urnbearer was Randy Garneau. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks Our families would like to thank the following for everything you have done for our families. To our cousin Joe Carter for the eulogy, to Randy Garneau our brother for being the pallbearer, to Father Len Cadieux for the wonderful sermon, Donna Weston, Kathryn Taylor and Bill Cornfoot on bagpipes. To the girls at the Moose Lodge for a great lunch. For the staff at the hospital and for McCaw's for everything you have done for us. My last thank you goes to some special people who through the week were by our side. To my cousin Audrey Parke, Auntie Rema Dunst, Violet Trottier, Julie Whitstone you ladies are my anchor. I would like to thank Onion Lake First Nations for helping my family.
