B I O G R A P H Y GABERT: Elsie Gabert passed away in the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at the age of 92 years. Elsie is survived by: one son Walter Gabert and his wife Mary of Lloydminster; one daughter Rose and her husband Leo Kessel of Unity; three grandchildren: Marvin and his wife Annette; Carolyn and her husband Darren; Bev; five great grandchildren: Todd, Justin, Joshua, Sarah and Johnathon; one sister Alma and her husband Herb. Elsie was predeceased by: her husband Carl; her brothers: Gus, John, Rinnie and Ed; her sister Martha. The funeral service for Elsie was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Norm Laird officiating. A eulogy was given by Rudy Jurke. The Grace United Church Choir sang "Amazing Grace." Hymns sung were "Beyond The Sunset," and "The Lord's My Shepherd," accompanied on the organ by Irene Knowlson. Active pallbearers were: Marvin Kessel, Bruce McKerchar, Henry Radke, Norm Helm, Wilf Jurke and Darrel Kalowski. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd. of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks Thank you to everyone for your support and condolences through this time of need. Special thanks to Reverend Norman Laird, the Prairie North Health Region Staff and all who helped in any way for the funeral service. Walter & Mary Rose & Leo and Families Donations in memory of Elsie may be made to the Lloyd Region Health Foundation.
