B I O G R A P H Y PARKER: Herbert Bruce "Herb" Parker passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital on Monday, March 21, 2005 at the age of 76 years. Herb is survived by: his loving wife Doreen of Marwayne; two children: Lyle Parker and his wife Dawna of Marwayne; Kerri and her husband Trevor Green of Unity; four grandchildren: Megan, Lucas, Chase and Rayel; one sister-in-law Jean Parker of Marwayne; one brother-in-law Steve Davis of Tofield as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Herb was predeceased by his son Blair in 1975. The memorial service for Herb was conducted from the Marwayne Community Hall, Marwayne, Alberta on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Bob Aldrich officiating. Hymns sung were "Beyond The Sunset," "There'll Be Peace In The Valley," and "What A Friend We Have In Jesus," accompanied on the organ by Joanne Horton. A solo “Grandpa,” was sung by Yvette Barnett. Honorary pallbearers were: Larry Stafford, Richard Schopff, Bruce Parker, Terry Franklin, Reuben Johnson, Duane Parker and Marvin Davis. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Reverend Bob Aldrich, Dr. Kerlis and the ICU nursing staff for their compassion and caring during this difficult time. To McCaw Funeral Service for the memorial arrangements. Joanne and Yvette for their musical tribute, Marty Person for giving the eulogy and the honorary pallbearers. For all the cards, phone calls, visits, flowers, donations and food to the house. To the Royal Purple ladies for serving the lunch after the service. Your kindness will always be remembered. Donations in memory of Herb may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of the donor's choice.
