BIOGRAPHY BINNS ~ Phyllis Mae Binns passed away peacefully in the Lloydminster Hospital in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Phyllis will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 64 years, Stan; son Pat and Carol Binns; daughter Barbara and Pat Doyle; seven grandchildren: Rob Binns (Dawn), Mark Binns (Kate), Brad Binns (Carrie), Lilly Binns (Dave), Christy Sharp (Joe), Ryan Doyle (Crystal) and Scott Doyle; seven great grandchildren: Liam and Keegan Doyle, Dylan Sharp, Kristen and Andrew Binns, Olivia and Jackson Binns; two brothers: Pat and Wilna Evans of Dauphin, Manitoba, Larry and Carol Evans of Stony Plain, Alberta; sister-in-law Doris and Bert Page of Whitewood, Saskatchewan as well as numerous other relatives. The prayer service was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. with Father Louis Fowoyo officiating. The mass of Christian burial will be conducted from the St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Jan Sobkowicz officiating. The eulogy was given by brother Larry Evans. The soloist was Marlene Risling accompanied on the organ by Donna Weston. The trumpet player was Mel Risling. A nurses honor guard was in attendance. The active pallbearers were Rob Binns, Mark Binns, Brad Binns, Christy Sharp, Ryan Doyle and Scott Doyle. The interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS We would like to thank Dr. Gerber and the hospital staff for their excellent care of Phyllis. Appreciation to McCaw Funeral Service for the arrangements. Thank you to the Nurses Honor Guard, and thank you to all friends. Thank you to friends and relatives for hospital visits, flowers, cards, food, and for your kindness and compassion.
