B I O G R A P H Y CONLON: Ralph Alwyn Conlon passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital on Sunday, March 6, 2005 at the age of 82 years. Ralph is survived by: his loving wife Doris of Lloydminster; five children Donna and her husband Stephane Fritz of Shawinigan, Quebec; Colleen and her husband Robin Getz of Wallkill, New York; Art Conlon and his wife Teresa of Lloydminster; Mark Conlon and his wife Cynthia of Orleans, Ontario; Harry Conlon and his wife Darcie of Marsden; four grandchildren: Garrett, Kyle, Breanna and Bryce; one brother Bill Conlon of Lloydminster. Ralph was predeceased by: daughter Bonnie in 1969; one brother and one sister. The funeral service for Ralph was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Norm Laird officiating. Special music "Danny Boy," was played as the processional. A solo was done by Laura Hastings accompanied on the piano by Brad Berkan. The hymn played was "Amazing Grace," accompanied on the organ by Irene Knowlson. A Legion Honor guard and a Forrester's Honor guard were present. Honorary pallbearers were: Bernard Walker, Eric Salt, Mike Breen, George Tokarek, George Hastings, Roy McAllister, Alfred Nelson and Ken Hartle. Active pallbearers were: Art Conlon, Harry Conlon, Mark Conlon, Len Conlon, Neil Conlon and Peter Dunsing. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family would like to thank the staff of Lloydminster Hospital for the care given to Ralph and all those who visited him during his stay there, and those who gave donations to the Alzheimer’s Society. Donations may be made to The Alzheimer Association.
