B I O G R A P H Y KEICHINGER: Edward Keichinger passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at the age of 69 years. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Dot; five children: Dan Keichinger and his wife Laura of Westlock; Linda and her husband Brett Hartwell of Calgary; Marilyn and her husband Dennis Ward of Victoria, BC; Laura and her husband Kevin Allen of Leduc; Dwayne Keichinger and his wife Jennifer of Lloydminster; eleven grandchildren; six great grandsons; two brothers: Albert Keichinger and his wife Joan of Lloydminster; Bill Keichinger and his wife Lynn of Streamstown; one brother-in-law John Hartel of Oliver, BC as well as numerous special friends and neighbors. The funeral service for Ed was conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, January 28, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Father Adam Lech officiating. A eulogy was given by Tracy Klotz. A solo "Amazing Grace," was sung by Colleen Hozak. A solo "Nearer My God To Thee," was sung by Charlene Keichinger both accompanied by Donna Eyben. Active pallbearers were: Ian Keichinger, Jason Keichinger, Daryl Ward, Michael O'Keefe, Henry Keichinger and Ken Keichinger. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Donations in memory of Ed may be made to the Lloyd Region Health Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
