B I O G R A P H Y JAMES: Merle Wildon James passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at the age of 60 years. Merle is survived by his loving wife Mabel; two daughters: Lorri and Gordon of Calgary and their daughter Mikayla; Lorna and Dave of Edmonton and their children: Brittany and Bryar his mother: Gertie James of Lloydminster; three brothers: Victor James, Lyle and Helen James and Bruce and Shirley James; one sister Gloria and Cyril Flury. The funeral service for Merle was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Norm Laird officiating. A eulogy was given by Dwayne Lundquist and Doug Callbeck. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Oilmen's Technical Society (O.T.S.). Active pallbearers were: Dalbert Attfield, Doug Callbeck, Ron Milne, Dave Wasyliw, Jim Hunt, Dwayne Lundquist and Norm Watts. A private family interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks Through this very difficult time we would like to extend our very heartfelt thanks to everyone that has helped us in so many ways. To granddaughter Brittany who wrote and read her beautiful poem, to Dolores Ortynski who read a lovely scripture, and to nieces Joanne and Janet Fortin, thank you all for your beautiful tributes. To the active pallbearers, the United Church choir, the organist and WOTM for the lovely lunch. Thank you all for everything. To everyone who sent the beautiful flowers and cards to our home and church, sent or dropped off food, and stopped by we appreciate it so much. It makes us feel so comforted to know how much Merle was thought of. A special thank you to our dear family friend Doug Callbeck for the warm heartfelt personal eulogy, and to Dwayne Lundquist for Merle’s work history eulogy. Your really captured Merles spirit and humour. Thank you to everyone who came to the service. It was truly wonderful to see everyone. It is hard to put our feelings into words but please know how much we appreciate everything everyone has done. Thank you for all of us.
