B I O G R A P H Y
BAKER: Myrtle Edwina Baker passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital on Saturday, December 25, 2004 at the age of 82 years.
Myrtle is survived by: three children: Walter Baker and his wife Betty; Lyle Baker and his wife Sandra; Deanna and her husband Art Gainsforth; nine grandchildren: Kevin Baker, Twyla and Grey Purchke, Jason and Sarah Baker, Glenn and Joyce Baker, Marty and Kim Baker, Jacquie and Brad Pollard, Doug and Diane Gainsforth, Kirk and Michelle Gainsforth, Andy and Stacey Gainsforth; nine great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives.
Myrtle was predeceased by her husband Allen on May 22, 2004.
The funeral service for Myrtle was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Norm Laird officiating.
A eulogy was given by Walter Baker.
A solo "On Eagle's Wings" was sung by Joy Hartel.
The Grace United Church Choir was in attendance.
Hymns sung were "In The Garden," and "Battle Hymn of the Republic," accompanied on the organ by Margaret Venance.
Honorary pallbearers were all those in attendance.
Active pallbearers were: Kevin Baker, Twyla & Greg Purschke, Jason & Sarah Baker, Glenn & Joyce Baker, Marty & Kim Baker, Jacquie & Brad Pollard, Doug & Diane Gainsforth, Kirk & Michelle Gainsforth, and Andy & Stacey Gainsforth.
Interment followed in the McLaughlin Cemetery.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bowden and the medical staff of the Lloydminster Hospital for the special care our mom received. Thanks you also to the staff of the Jubilee Home for the short time she was in your care. Also to Reverend Norm Laird, Joy Hartel and Margaret Venance for a job well done. To the McLaughlin Ladies for the great lunch. Glenn McCaw and his staff thanks for your kindness and compassion throughout the funeral arrangements.
