B I O G R A P H Y BOURQUE: Violet Mable Bourque passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital on Sunday, December 12, 2004 at the age of 86 years. Violet is survived by: four children: Sandra and her hsuband Bert Gibbs of Alcurve, Donna and her hsuband Les Crouch of Sundre, Francis Bourque and his wife Linda of Pelly, SK; Judy and her husband Glen Grant of Frenchman Butte; twelve grandchildren:Dan Rabl(Patty) Edmonton, AB; Darrell Rabl (Karin), Lloydminster, AB; Carmen Marler (Ray) Rocky Mountain House, AB; Kyle Crouch (Sheila) Red Deer, AB; Keri-Lynn Crouch (Ryan) Sundre, AB; Karen Bourque (Ken) Lloydminster, SK; Chance, Chase, Cole Bourque, Pelly, SK; Mark Applegate (Kris) of Sherwood Park, AB; Cori Evans Edmonton, AB; Tanner Applegate (Jill) Sherwood Park, AB; ten great grandchildren: Christina, Brooke, Brandon,; Shelby, Cydney, Connor; Garth; Andrew, Nolen, Koby; three sisters: Edith Hargreaves, Vivian Simpson, Eva Kozlinski as well as numerous other relatives. Violet was predeceased by her husband Hubert Bourque on May 27, 1974; three brothers: Clarence, Walter and Arvid Johnson; seven sisters: Nell Sortland, Marie Forquharson, Lillian York, Mae Bell, Marg Johnson, Glady Miller and Evelyn Maas. The funeral service for Violet was conducted from the Marwayne Community Hall, Marwayne, Alberta on Friday, December 17, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with Phil Doan officiating. A eulogy was given by Cori Evans. Yvette Barnett sang two solos “How Great Thou Art,” and “There’ll Be Peace In The Valley,” accompanied on the organ by Donna Eyben. Honorary pallbearers were: George and Mert Lowrie, Lloyd Hines, Kay Allen, Helen Ford, Doug and Margaret Ward. Active pallbearers were: Denny Robbie, John Picray, Dave Applegate, Roy Graham, Kevin Kim, and Doug Hines. A private family interment was held in the Marwayne Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks A sincere thank you to all our friends, neighbors and relatives for the many kindnesses in the recent loss of our Mum and Grandma. Thank you Cori for the beautiful tribute to Grandma. Thanks to Phil Doan for officiating. To Yvette Barnett and Donna Eyben for the music. Thanks again to the pallbearers Denny, John, Dave, Roy, Doug, Kevin, George, Myrt, Kay, Helen, Lloyd, Doug and Margaret. Thanks to the Royal Purple for the lovely lunch.
