Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little but not too long, And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we all shared. Miss me but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take, And each must go alone, It's all a part of the master's plan, A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, See family and friends we know, Take time to heal, though we must part Miss me but let me go. Card of Thanks The family wishes to thank Dr. Jill Lakins for her tireless dedication, kindness and compassion while caring for Shirley, as well as to the Lloydminster Home Care nurses for their help in our time of need and to Gwen Remple of the Canadian Cancer Society. We’d like to thank Pastor Anne & Reverend Norm Laird for the beautiful service, Irene Knowlson for playing the organ, Marlene Risling for singing, and the bagpiper Bill Cornfoot. Thanks go out to the pallbearers and to Norm Karst for his touching eulogy. Thank you to our family and friends who sent flowers, baskets, and cards, or who brought food to the house, and those of you who gave donations to the Cancer Society and Lloyd Home Care.
