Obituary of Maria Zaharko

On October 26, 2004 Mrs. Mary (Lukasewich) Zaharko of Edmonton, formerly of Derwent passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years.
She is loved and remembered by her four children, Frances Mills and Joyce Peters of Edmonton, Pauline Carstensen of Lloydminster and Ralph (Sharon) Zaharko of Calary, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and one great great grandson on the way; her sisters, Kate Tomasunas of Leduc and Jennie (Andrew) Dach of St. Paul; two brothers Bill and Nick Fylypuik of Edmonton; two sistersin-law, Annie (John) Fylypuik of Myrnam and Mary (Pete) Zaharko of Vermilion as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husbands Matt Zaharko (1969) and Joe Lukasewich (1991), her sons-in-law Leonard Mills and Carl Carstensen, her parents, Andrew and Dora Fylypuik, three brothers: Mike, Metro and John, two sisters: Annie and Sophie.
The funeral service for Mary will be conducted from the Knox Presbyterian Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 1:00 P.M.
The family wishes to thanks the staff and volunteers of 7AB at the General Hospital for their care and compassion of Mary (Baba).
Memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donors choice.
