Dorothy, Deb, Denise and family, We were shocked and saddened to read in the Journal, of the passing of Don. We remember many good times spent over the years in the company of you and your family. A few weeks ago we travelled to Jasper and on the way commented if you both were still living in the Wabamum area...as we noted how beautiful the scenery was. Our sympathies and thoughts are with you now and in the future as you celebrate and memoralize his life and all the people he touched. Bob and Dorothy Lowrie

Dear Dot To us Don was the heart of the Jones Beach Community. It is not by chance that your home is in the centre of the subdivision. With your support, Don did such excellent work for us all. We are unable to be with you on the 18th except in our hearts, but we will do anything we can to help your bear the weight of this next stage of your life. With loving thoughts & prayers. We were saddened to hear of Don's illness and his passing, and would like you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time. We remember him as someone who was always active in keeping our subdivision looking its best and in helping his neighbors when needed. He would often stop for a chat when we passed by, enthusiastically sharing news of his family and the community with us. We will miss him. With our sincerest sympathy

Dorothy and family, I only met Don a time or 2 and I remember that he was such a kind man. There are many people in the world that long to have such a great person in their life, hang on to your memories as I'm sure that you have very many. I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Heather's sister Charlene

We can't even begin to tell you how we feel. Don to us was the nicest guy in the world. He was so kind, sincere, considerate, generous, but what we seen over the years was the love for his family. Dorothy, Deb (Jerrold)Michelle, Denise (Kevin)Mandy & Trent had what so many desire the best husband, Dad and grandpa :friend, mentor, most often the angel in disguise. He was someone we could be ourselves around and him the same. What a wonderful man we are very proud to say we are family but more importantly we are friends. We will miss him dearly. Love You Guys; Craig & Heather
