It is with great sadness that the family of Eva Musgrave inform you of her peaceful passing on December 5, 2007 in Lloydminster, Alberta. Eva was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Ernie, on October 20, 2004 and her dear granddaughter Kathryn on October 7, 1999. Eva is survived by her children: Carolyn (Ken) McKenzie of Moose Jaw, Bill (Ann) Musgrave of Lloydminster, Joe (Sandy) Musgrave of Weyburn and Bobbi (Barry) Stevenson of Lloydminster; her grandchildren: Robert (Cora) McKenzie, Jennifer (David) Messner, Scott (Lori) Musgrave, Sandra (Trevor) Thorpe, Kevin (Karen) Musgrave, Patrick (Elizabeth) Musgrave, Amy Lynn (Ray) Casson, David Musgrave, Erin Stevenson, Alyson Stevenson and Earl Stevenson; great grandchildren: Alexander, Jillian, Forbes, Jesse and Jacob, Katie, Ben, Emily, Sarah Marlin, Sarah, Isaac, Taylor, Garrett, Kaitlyn, Keira and Collin. Eva was born in Morse, Saskatchewan on July 13, 1921 to Earl and Myrtle Nichols. Eva and Ernie were married July 13, 1940 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Mom’s proudest accomplishment are her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she enjoyed each and everyone as a special individual. Eva was very proud of the home they created for their family in Moose Jaw, in which they lived for 38 years. Christmas was a special time for Mom, she especially loved creating her Christmas village and that tradition lives on in her family. Later they resided at the cabin, which they built together, located at Buffalo Pound Lake. They traveled to Mesa, Arizona for 17 years where they made many, many good friends. It was in Mesa that she had the time to pursue her great love and talent of oil painting. In 1999 they moved to Lloydminster. After Dad’s passing, Mom resided at the Dr. Hemstock Assisted Living, where she again made many good friends. Thank you to her many friends at the Hemstock for the countless hours of laughs and companionship. The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff and Transition Unit at the Lloydminster Hospital for the outstanding care and kindness that was provided to Eva and her family. Thank you to Dr. Kostic, Dr, Singh, Dr. Sayeed and Dr. Chan. A special thank you to the Hemstock staff for the kindness shown to her during her stay there. Also thank you to Erma Noble and Marion Merchant for your kindness and support to Mom and her family. A time of Remembrance was held at the Timothy Eaton Centre, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, December 12 at 1:30 P.M. The interment of remains will take place in the spring. We love you Mom, love ya, love ya, love ya.
