It is with great sadness and yet a feeling of peace we announce the end of Ed's life here on earth. After a brief and challenging battle following his cancer diagnosis, we said good bye to our husband, father, grandfather, son , brother, uncle and friend. Ed is survived by his wife Deb, three sons Chad (Ami), Jason and Shawn, one grandson Dillon, mother Jean, sisters Connie Dzus (Elston), Donna Nagy (Jerry), brother John Wawryk, mother and father-in-law Jim and Viv Thiel, sisters-in-law Sandy Tate (Randy) and Brenda Thiel (Garth), brother-in-law Gord Thiel (Debbie) and numerous other relatives.
In accordance with Ed's wishes there will be no formal funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Ed's life will be held Friday, March 13 at the Circle Hall in Vanscoy from 2:00 - 5:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or a charity of choice.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Edward
