COONEY ~ Genevieve Mary Cooney passed away peacefully at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the age of 89 years.
A memorial service for Genevieve will be held at a later date.
Genevieve will be sadly missed by her daughter Marge and John Holthus of Lloydminster; granddaughter Carol and David Gray of Marsden; great grandchildren: Jody and Garth Janzer of Kitscoty, Korey Gray of Marsden; brother-in-law Robert and Freda Cooney of Saskatoon; sister-in-law Doris Scarett of Nanoose Bay, British Columbia as well as numerous other relatives.
Arrangements entrusted to McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., Lloydminster, Alberta.
Donations in memory of Genevieve may be made to the Dr. Cooke Patient Comfort Fund, Alzheimers Society or to the Ducks Unlimited.
