Obituary of Dwight Price

BIOGRAPHY PRICE ~ Dwight Charles Price passed away in the Royal Alex Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the age of 56 years. Dwight will be sadly missed by his wife Lucille; son Jason; three sisters: Wendy and Nelson Budd, Bev and Dan Jenish, Linda Nixon and friend Richard Gutting; two brothers: Gary and Jenny Price, Norman Price; in-laws: Charlie and Gail Boser, Jim and Ann Boser, Elaine and Joe Wandler, Lorna Kohlman, Loretta and Gerry Sherburne, Pat and Ken Neufeld as well as numerous other relatives. The funeral service was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. with Joyce Dickson officiating. The eulogy was read by Jason Price. The soloist and guitarist was Dwight's nephew, Brent Nixon. The musicians were Korrine Connely, Donna Boster, Wanda Heitt and Sheilia Heitt. The hymns sung were "Amazing Grace" and "The Old Rugged Cross". Special CD music was "Go Rest High On The Mountain". The active pallbearers were Troy Wandler, Curtis Nixon, Brent Nixon, Derrick Boser, Trevor Boser and Murray Risling. The interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS Lucille and Jason would like to thank the doctors, nurses, Hospital Staff and Ambulance Attendants for the care given to Dwight. Thank you to Joyce Dickson for the comforting service, Brent Nixon, Korrine Connelly, Donna Boser, Wanda Heitt and Sheilia Heitt for the special music, to the pallbearers and the ladies for preparing and serving lunch. Thank you to everyone who sent cards, flowers, made donations, brought food to the house and for all the phone calls and visits. Your thoughtfulness at this time will never be forgotten.
