Obituary of Mary Rollison

ROLLISON ~ Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Rollison passed away peacefully in the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the age of 90 years. Betty will be sadly missed by her son Gordon Olson of Edmonton; daughter Lorna and Sandy Sprinkle of Lloydminster; daughter-in-law Sherry Olson of Lloydminster; eight grandchildren: Palmer Olson of Calgary, Gordon Olson of Edmonton, Donald Olson of Edmonton, Colin Olson and fiancé Carly of Leduc, Randy Olson of Edmonton, Drake Olson of Edmonton Karen Oliphant of Edmonton, John Sprinkle and fiancé Valerie of Lloydminster; four great grandchildren: Ava Olson, Tristen Oliphant, Erik Sprinkle, Lauryn Sprinkle; step children: Darv and Judy Rollison of Campbell River, B.C., Keith Rollison of Lloydminster, Maxine Stewart of Camrose, Valerie Tetz of Camrose as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her first husband Millard Olson, husband Leslie (Jim) Rollison, son Neil Olson, grandson Louis Olson, sisters Jean Huard and Helen Newman. The memorial service was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Joyce Carson officiating. The eulogy was read by Gordon Olson. The hymns sung were "In The Bulb There Is A Flower" and "How Great Thou Art" accompanied on the organ by Irene Knowlson. The Grace United Church Choir was in attendance. The interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS Thank you to the great staff at the Dr. Cooke for the wonderful care they gave Mom over the last five years. Also, thank you to everyone who sent flowers and food to the house. Thank you to Joyce Carson for the kind words at the service and to the United Church Choir for the hymns.
