John will be sadly missed by his wife, Helena, children; Bev (Leander) Dyck of Saskatoon, SK, Carol Funk of Glaslyn, SK, Phil (Debbie) Sawatzky of Lacombe, AB, Henry (Joan) Sawatzky of Maidstone, SK, Marilyn (Wayne) Isaac of Saskatoon, SK, 17 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, brothers; Frank Sawatzky of Saskatoon, SK, Isaac (Margaret) Sawatzky of Kelowna, BC, Dave (Miriam) Sawatzky of Waldheim, SK, sister; Anne Fehr of Red Deer, AB, and numerous other relatives.
John was predeceased by his son Dan Sawatzky, son in law Clarence Funk, brothers Pete Sawatzky, Jake Sawatzky, and Henry Sawatzky, and sister Nettie Harder.
