HOOD ~ Doris Elizabeth Hood (nee Skinner) passed away at the Lady Minto Health Centre, Edam, Saskatchewan on Monday, October 8, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Doris will be sadly missed by her daughter Sherri (Lynn) Grant and family: Amy (Wayne) Andree with Katherine, Joanna, Mikayla, and Dominic; Logan (Avery) Grant with Storey; Brenna Grant: Morgan (Jenn) Grant with Arden; her son Shannon (Louise) Hood and family: Jody (Erin) Hood with Jaden, and Nevin; Angie (Kris) Carver with Meadow, and Kale; Nathan (Anna) Hood with Alex, and Ariel; brother-in-law Len Heth and family, sister-in-law Myrna Skinner and family; sister-in-law Ruth (Ken) Gibson and family, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. The funeral service for the late Doris Hood was conducted from the Edam Community Auditorium, Edam, Saskatchewan on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Kun Kim officiating. The Eulogy was read by Jody Hood. The Hymns sung were "In The Garden", "The Church In The Wildwood", and "Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace" accompanied by Bev Meikle on the organ. The Edam Community Choir was in attendance. The Interment was held in the Edam Cemetery, Edam, Saskatchewan, The lunch was held in the Edam Community Auditorium, Edam, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of Doris may be made to the Lady Minto Health Centre or a Charity of the Donor's Choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. choice.
