LENNON ~ George Richardson "Rick" Lennon passed away at the Vermilion Health Centre on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the age of 80 years. Rick will be sadly missed by his wife Kathy Lennon, children; Jim (Cindy) Lennon, Donna (Jack) Upshall, and Susan (Randy) Jackson, grandchildren; Krista, Andy and Alicia Lennon, Andrew and Michael Upshall, Nichol (Cody) Berg, Ashley (Dusty) Harvie, and Royden Jackson, brothers; Bill Culford, Joe Culford, and Fred Culford, sisters; Rosemary Vinge and Karen Stafford, in-laws; Barb Brind, Jim (Donna) Burke, and Barb Lennon. Rick was predeceased by his parents; Bill and Annie Culford, sister Kathleen, and brother Jack. The memorial service for Rick was conducted from the Marwayne Community Hall on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Bob Aldrich officiating. The eulogy was read by Reverend Bob Aldrich. The hymns sung by Yvette Barnett were "In The Garden", and It Is Well With My Soul" accompanied by organist Joanne Horton. The Urn bearers were his four grandsons. The Recessional hymn was "Go Now In Peace." The Interment was held in the Marwayne Cemetery. The lunch was held in the Marwayne Community Hall following the Interment. Donations in memory of Rick may be made to Haying in the 30's Cancer Support Society or Marwayne Fire & Rescue. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
