Gord,Melonie and Hudson, Very sorry for the loss of your Mom.Very often when I would see her, I would ask how her Grandson was doing. And as always, her face would light up, and she would say,"Oh, he's doing wonderful!"She was so very proud of him. She will be dearly missed.

Chris and I had quite a bit in common. We both had a great love for our friends, families and especially our grand-children; plus lemon pie. This photo was taken at a birthday luncheon at Linda's home in 2011.

The evening mom left to be with dad I spent some time with her just watching TV and talking with her sporadicaly when she would wake up from time to time. around 11:30pm mom woke up and said "YES" loud enough it startled me, I said "yes what mom" and she replied "I am ready to go" I replied "you cant go anywhere until tommorrow" she said "ok" in a low voice and returned to sleep. A while later Melanie came, talked with her a while, did some care and just made sure mom was comfortable. When it was time for us to go home and after tucking her in I kissed her cheek and told her I loved her, she said I love you guys too and then said "when is he coming?" I replied "not till tommorrow mom" and she said "you keep telling me that". I dont know what all that means but I would like to believe that Dad or God was on his way to take her home. Thinking that puts my heart at peace after losing my mom who I loved more than anything in this world. Your devoted son, Gordie
