In 1998 my husband Werner, our daughter Marina, our son Stefan and I were visitng Canada and came to Lisa, Ernest and Chris at the Turtlelake. Lisa and Ernest, Jackie and Chris were my parents friends and also mine. They gave us wonderful lovely days at the lake. We learned to catch fishes and to drive a 4wheeler...we could taste Lisa's good gourmet-cooking, feeded little Charly, the squirrel, met the dear neighbour-friends at the wishing well and got many good informations for the next steps on our journey from the Turtlelake to Edmonton, Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff and back to Calgary with the motorhome. The Reiters - Good friends - for ever in our hearts. We are thankful to know them.
