Albert Moris Alm passed away at home in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the age of 80 years. Albert Moris Alm was born the 6th son of Olaf and Brita Alm on September 3, 1932 in Kelliher, Saskatchewan. He attended school in Kelliher until studying Accounting at Regina College and the University of Saskatchewan. He moved to Lloydminster to article and ultimately opened his own practice: AM Alm Chartered Accountant in 1960. His practice thrived in the Lloydminster and Maidstone area for 38 years until his retirement in 1998. He was honored to earn the trust of generations of families that sought advice for their business and personal finances. On November 30, 1963 he married Linda Shirley Peters and they raised 3 children: Terry, Dean and Jane. He was predeceased by his 5 brothers Olaf, Andy, Rudy, Vernor and Bob. Left to mourn are his loving wife Linda, their 3 children Terry (Jenafor) Alm, Dean Alm, Jane (Kelvin) Paul and 10 grandchildren: Terice, Moraya and Vaughn Coleman; Justine (Jon) Moon; Vince, Kurtis and Troy Paul; Ashala, Aiden and Casey Mah. The family would like to thank Diane Cavanaugh and the home care nurses whose commitment allowed Mom to care for Dad at their own home till his passing.
