I thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had. If i could relive yesterday, I thought just for a while, I'd say goodbye and hug you and maybe see you smile. So when tomorrow starts without me,don't think we are far apart for every time you think of me I'm here in your heart. Love you forever.

I light this candle for my Dad. The greatest man I have ever know. I light it so that his unborn grandchild can know about him even though I know in my heart they are in heaven looking down on us, getting to know each other, so my baby will be that much wiser when it comes to this world. To describe this man is impossible; kind, loving, demanding, perfectionist, loyal, giving, generous and huge hearted are just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of him. I know I have not lost my Daddy for as Drew said "I can feel him in my heart". The world, especially mine, is a better place for having had him in it. I am the person I am because of him and my incredibly strong Mom.....Just goes to show you don't have to be an angel to fly....you just gotta wing it. I love you Daddy......cause "I know I'm Daddy's number one for he loves me like I was a son...."

It has been my pleasure to get to know Don and the family over the years. Through having a laugh at coffee or a joke at work, Don always had a smile on his face, (and a fresh bandaid on his finger). Don had a love for Motorbikes, especially Honda, which we share a love of or is it an obsession? It was always exciting to hear about Don and Pam's adventures touring on the wing and sometimes a prayer..the dog accident story..The times Don would get excited about adding a new set of lights on the bike or getting more additions on the paint job, Don had a certain way to tweak his bike and very few were allowed to muck with it. The manager of Riverside Honda probably put his kids through college with Don's help. Whether Don was deeply involved in fixing a boiler, putting marble on a shower or working on his Wing, he worked to the greatest of his abilities and did awesomely. The Lord needed a plumber and a biker to work on his heavenly plumbing and His Honda! Have an awesome ride up there Don!

My memories of Don go back to his growing up years in Lashburn when he delivered the daily paper to my mother (Dorothy Tarleton) and always looked for a cookie that she would have set out for him. Then he became our faithful plumber. Who else other than you,Pam and Don would come to our house in Lashburn two days before Christmas on a weekend to install a new hot water heater. My sincere sympathy to you,Pam and your family.

I was welcomed first by Andrea and then without a blink by this loving family. Over the next 18 years I shared dinners, birthdays, holidays, christmas and countless other events earning the name #5 that of becoming daughter #5. Who knew such a name would have so much meaning. We've shared lifes most memorable moments from graduations to weddings, to our first borns to some of the darkest days. Don showed me that a life of hard work is the only way, that family is what keeps your life full, that we must be humble creatures, and that you can marry your best friend and continue to best friends with an enduring love like no other. I am not sad that he is gone for he is now free of the shackles he bore, I am sad that this terrible disease chose him. He leaves not an empty place in my heart but a full piece for all that he gave so selflessly to me and my family over the years. Thanks for you Don (aka Papa Don) love the Bondy's.. to Pam, Alicia, Andrea and the rest of the family we're here to help pick up the pieces.
