Obituary of Joseph Lucien Fournier

BIOGRAPHY FOURNIER ~ Joseph Lucien Redmond Fournier passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the age of 84 years. Lucien leaves to mourn his wife, Kathleen; three children, Denise (Lorne) Deeks, Keith Fournier and Marlene (Gord) Stieb; seven grandchildren, Roger (Karla) Deeks, Jennifer (Jeff) Bogdan, Chelsea Fournier, Jocelyn Fournier, Joelle Fournier, Morgan Stieb and Lee Stieb; three great grandchildren, Ryanna Deeks, Brynn Deeks and Mason Deeks; sister, Pauline Lee and numerous other relatives. The Memorial Service was conducted from Grace United Church, Lloydminster on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Pat Ribey officiating. The Eulogy was given by Keith Fournier. Special Music "I Will Remember You" was performed by Sarah Maier and Julie Berg. The hymns sung were "All the Way My Savior Leads Me" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" accompanied by Irene Knowlson on the organ. The Honorary Pallbearers were All Those Who Shared in His Life. The Urn Bearers were Jennifer Bogdan and Chelsea Fournier. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd. of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The Fournier family would like to thank all those who shared in the service for Lucien, exchanged memories, and gave words of comfort. We would like to thank those who made donations of food, flowers and contributions to charities, your kindness was much appreciated.
