BIOGRAPHY CAMPBELL ~ James “Jim” Bruce Campbell passed away peacefully in the Jubilee Home, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the age of 96 years. Jim will be sadly missed by his wife Eva; children: Bruce and Linda Campbell, Bob and Lynda Campbell, Betty and Bill Gartner; six grandchildren: Lori, Darren, Tyler, Brynn, Kyla and Ryan; seven great grandchildren; one brother Doug Campbell as well as numerous other relatives. The funeral service was conducted from the Stockade Convention Centre, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Richard Davies officiating. The eulogy was read by Lori Haygarth. The hymns sung were “How Great Thou Art”, “Amazing Grace” and “There’ll Be Peace In The Valley” accompanied on the organ by Irene Knowlson. The soloist was Jon Gibbs singing “If We Hold On Together”. The active pallbearers were Darren Campbell, Tyler Campbell, Ryan Gartner, Ken Hillaby, Dennis Gibbs, Tom Scriber and Jim Swan. The interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The families of the late Jim Campbell would like to thank Dr. Snyman for her care of Dad over the years, the nurses of Emergency and third floors of the Lloydminster Hospital, the staffs of the Jubilee Home and to Terry Swan and the staff of the Hemstock Assisted Living Center. A special thank you to Richie Davies for his personal touch in the officiating of Dad’s service as it had such a special meaning to us, to Jon Gibbs in his efforts to make the music at the service special, not to mention coming such a long way to do so, to Irene Knowlson for going the extra mile to accompany Jon, to Lori Haygarth for giving the eulogy, to Jim’s pallbearers and to Mike and the staff at the Lloydminster Exhibition for their efforts during lunch and beyond. Thank you to all for the cards and flowers received, for donations made and for the many calls and visits. Thank you also to Joel, Glenn & Dave McCaw for your professionalism and care of Jim’s funeral arrangements.
