Ron was a fixture at the Lloyd Curling Club and an embodiment of the spirit of curling. He inspired us as he curled for many decades, during which time he made many friends while playing the game at a high level and with the greatest integrity. He will be missed by all.

To the family: I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that God will comfort and sustain you. Psalms 34:18 says that He is near to those broken at heart and saves those crushed in spirit. He truly knows the pain you feel. He assures us at John 5:28 that a time will soon come when we will welcome back to our arms those we have lost. Know that time is very near. Allow God to comfort your soul until that day arrives. Please keep His promises close to your heart. I offer my deepest sympathies to your entire family.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father / husband. Dr. Ron was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. I remember him coming to our house and looking after my younger sister when we were kids and she was sick. That was when Doctors made house calls. I then remember him at the skating rink as I skated for many years with Eleanor, Joan and Janet. Most recently I remember him golfing at the Communiplex. He loved his game of golf and enjoyed the jokes and laughter with his crew that came in every week. Ron and Marj were always a very pleasant couple, I believe the world could learn something from their relationship and how to treat other people. The world is truly going to miss this gentle man and heaven has definitely gained an "Angel". My condolences to you all.
