Obituary of Pauline Behnke

BEHNKE ~ Pauline Margaret Behnke passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the age of 81 years. Pauline leaves to mourn: her husband, Ed Behnke; siblings, Augustine Meier (Micheline Boivin), James Meier, Leona Meier, Rose Marie Lang-Froese (John Froese), Lawrence Meier, Loretta (Bill) Wiseman and Lucy (Ron) Koenig; in-laws, Bernard Behnke, William Behnke, Mary (Pat) McLaughlin, Margaret Behnke, Peter (Mary) Behnke, Teresa (Lawrence) Venance and George Behnke. The Prayer Vigil was conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. The Funeral Service for Pauline was conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, February 21, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. with Father Rajappa Savariappan officiating. The eulogy was given by Augustine Meier. The music performed during the service was led by soloist Carla Feist and accompanied by pianist Melanie Pellerin. The honorary pallbearers were everyone who shared in her life. The active pallbearers were Ethanel Oneil, George Behnke, Roy Graham, Jim Meier, Lawrence Meier and Augustine Meier. The Interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. Donations in memory of Pauline may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
