Pat, Barbara-Jane and families, my heart aches for all of you and what you are going through. Your parents were so very special to me, just their voices over the phone could melt my heart. All the wonderful childhood memories I have spending so many special days and occasions with both of them. Your father was so stoic and I was in awe of him and his many accomplishments. I also observed him in many of his more "relaxed" moments, sharing camping trips, singsongs around the fire and many great laughs. I share your loss and just hope that maybe your parents and mine are laughing together again. You will be in my thoughts tomorrow, love, Melodie

Pat, Barbara Jane and families...Our Deepest Sympathy. Thoughts and prayers are with you! I was recently telling a story to close friends of how special it was as a child living in Radville when " Uncle Stan " and your mom would be en-route in the air for a visit . We'd sit waiting for what seemed an eternity staring up into that big blue sky ... and then would appear their tiny airplane. I could hardly contain my excitement one because I knew I was going to be treated to an airplane ride but also because I knew that the house would be filled with love, warmth and laughter.
