Doreen and Family So sorry to hear of CJ's passing. He was a remarkable man and knew the cattle industry like no other. I will always remember him driving through the pastures in the Cadillac. Doreen and family: Very saddened to hear of Carew's passing. Life is memories and my memories of Carew are many and great. He overwhelmed me the first time we met because he was not the fearsome person I imagined based on his legend as a hard driving man. He must have saved that for other people because he and I hit it off and he help me believe in what I could become. I'm sure he had to help me fill out the first sales contract we signed and always had patients while I was learning to fix some of his equipment. I miss the excitement of those times and little things like going for a flip in his plane. He will always be a legend for me. Respectfully Dana Fisher

Auntie Doreen, and my cousins and families, I am so sorry for your loss. 90 years is a wonderful life to celebrate, but so sad to come to an end. One memory that will always bring a smile to my face, is when I rode Fleet past the kitchen window where Uncle Carew was sitting ... who knew how high and fast he could jump into the air at seeing me on his high spirited horse! And, I am still riding today and remembering many happy days that our families shared at the farm when I was growing up. So sorry I cannot be there for the funeral. Dear Doreen and all O'Gradys, How very sad to get this notice, but thank you Caren for including us. To Nancy and especially to me, memories of my experiences with Carew are so very special. He was a big man in so many ways. I can't just talk about Carew because my time in Neilburg and on the farm were all about the whole O'grady clan. Doreen, you and your grand man sure started a dynasty !!! I also can't help but mention that Carew was one of the few bosses I ever had that loaned me his brand new car full of gas on a Saturday night !!!I also took many of the teachings he laid on me about farming, and used them in my educational career and personally in my everyday life. Our sincerest condolences to all of you. Carew has left an imprint on the lives of many folks, me included. Love to all, Ken.
