BIOGRAPHY
CHISHOLM ~ Mary Theresa Chisholm passed away with her family by her side in the Pine Island Lodge, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Friday, April 29, 2011 at the age of 94 years.
She is survived and will be dearly missed by her three children and their partners: Helen and Garry Fletcher, Michael and Heather Chisholm, and Ian and Peggy Chisholm; six grandchildren: Sarah (Edward) and Alexander (Virginie)Fletcher, Ian (Anne-Marie), Bradley (Taryn), Stephan (Carissa) Chisholm, Hailey Chisholm; three great grandchildren: Jamison, Oscar and Rose; and, her Donovan and Murphy nieces and nephews who so enriched her life.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Roy, her parents Michael and Eliza-Jane Donovan, and her two brothers Jack and Jim and sister-in-law Betty, and by many of her cherished friends.
The prayer service was conducted from the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. with Father Phong Tran officiating.
The mass of Christian burial was conducted from the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Phong Tran officiating.
The eulogy was read by Ian Chisholm.
The organist was Kathy Franks.
The honorary pallbearer was Hailey Chisholm.
The active pallbearers were Ian Chisholm, Bradley Chisholm, Stephan Chisholm, Alex Fletcher, Sarah Fletcher and Jameson Daniel.
The interment was held in the Maidstone Cemetery.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
CARD OF THANKS
The family of Mary Chisholm would like to thank all our family and friends for the support and care during this difficult time. Thank you to Father Tran, the wonderful choir, and to all those who participated in the service. Special thanks to the Ladies Altar Society for the wonderful lunch. Thank you to everyone for the food, flowers and donations and to the staff at McCaw's. Special mention to the staff at Pine Island Lodge for their care and compassion over the past several years. Your thoughtfulness will not be forgotten.
