WILLMENT ~ Gail (Thom) Willment passed away in Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the age of seventy years. Gail leaves to mourn her passing: her son, Wayne Willment of Lloydminster; two daughters, Wendi (Billy) Antoniw of Edmonton, Alberta and Kara (Wayne) McGarry of Neilburg, Saskatchewan; five granddaughters: Kailee, Jordan, Jenna, Gracie and Mattea; sister, Lynn (Robert) Dargin of St. Benedict, Saskatchewan and nephews Wade (Cara) Dargin and Gavin Dargin; one sister-in-law, Joan Anderson of Lloydminster; three brothers-in-law, Charlie (Margaret) Willment of Calgary, Lorne (Rose) Willment of White Rock, BC and Clifford (Pat) Willment of Medicine Hat, as well as numerous other relatives. Gail was predeceased by her husband, Mervin Willment; parents, Vic and Grace Thom; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Vida Willment; brother-in-law, Johnny Anderson and an infant nephew, Christopher Dargin. The Memorial Service for Gail was conducted from Knox Presbyterian Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Joyce Dickson officiating. Jenni Ulsifer gave the eulogy. Jeanine Hatchard sung the solo "On Eagles' Wings." The hymns sung "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art" were accompanied by organist, Irene Knowlson and the Grace United Church Choir. The honorary pallbearers were her granddaughters: Kailee, Jordan, Jenna, Gracie and Mattea. Interment was held in the Neilburg Cemetery, Neilburg, Saskatchewan. Donations in Gail's memory may be made to a charity of the donors choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks We would like to thank the Lloydminster Ambulance Service and members of the RCMP for their quick response. A special thank you to Jennifer Hauberg for all her kindness. Thank you to Joyce Dickson, Grace United Church Choir and organist Irene Knowlson for their part in the service; and the ladies from the United Church for doing the lunch. The family would also like to thank Jeanine Hatchard for singing and Jenni Ulsifer for giving the eulogy. We are very grateful for the many family and friends who have shown their support through phone calls, flowers, cards, donations and visits. Your kindness will never be forgotten. A thank you also to Dean Wenzel of McCaw Funeral Service for his thoughtfulness, professionalism and friendship at such a difficult time.
