John McLaughlin passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital on Monday, August 12, 2013 at the age of 66 years.
John leaves to mourn his loving wife, Shelley; two sons, Dallas (Elisha) and Jason; step-son, Brad (Kandace); step-daughter, Lesley (Justin); six grandchildren: Leo, Ellen, Alexander, Emily, Kaitlyn and Jordan; sister, Daphne (Wayne) Varty; brother, Joseph McLaughlin as well as numerous other relatives.
John was predeceased by his parents, George & Sarah McLaughlin and two brothers, Gordon and George McLaughlin.
Donations in John's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Firefighters Burn Treatment Unit at the University of Alberta or to a charity of the donor's choice.
