MARLATT ~ Berenice Marlatt passed away at the Jubilee Home in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Monday, August 26 at the age of 94 years. Berenice leaves to mourn her passing: her loving husband, Vernon Marlatt; three children: Marvin Marlatt, Karen & Syd Palmer and Wendy & Ken Vivian; 10 Grandchildren: Aaron (Jen) Marlatt, Brendan (Ami) Marlatt, Melody Marlatt, Michelle Marlatt, Tara (Trevor) Shirtliffe, Dawn (Steven) Nadon, Lynsey (Leon) Pedersen, Kendra (Blair) Vivian, Curtis Vivian and Tyson (Nicky) Vivian; 6 Great Grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lily Morris and Laura Napper and brother, Harold Bradley. The Memorial Service for Berenice Marlatt was conducted from Lashburn Community Hall on Thursday, August 29 at 2:00 PM with Carol Mohrbutter officiating. June Hope gave the eulogy. Music during the service was performed by Tom Rice. The honorary pallbearers were all those in attendance. Interment was held in the Lashburn Cemetery. Donations in memory of Berenice may be made to the Lashburn Ladies Hospital Auxiliary. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks We would like to thank Carol Mohrbutter for doing the service and for being there with the family before and after Berenice's passing, it was a great comfort to us. Thanks to June Hope for the wonderful eulogy, you were a good friend to Berenice over the years and she would have greatly appreciated the tribute you gave her. Many thanks to Tom Rice for looking after the music, Berenice always loved listening to you and your group anytime you played at the home (Points West). Thank you to the Lashburn Hospital Auxiliary ladies and the Lashburn Community for providing the lunch and setting up the chairs. Thanks to everyone who brought food, flowers, cards and all the phone calls, your caring means so much.
