Obituary of Stella Nysetvold

NYSETVOLD ~ Stella Nysetvold passed away at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre in Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the age of 91 years. Stella was born on December 3, 1921 to Thedore and Dina Sand. Stella leaves to mourn her passing: two sons: Clair & Linda Nysetvold and Dennis Nysetvold; two grandchildren: Trevor (Sarah) Nysetvold and Tara (Chris) Seib; four great grandchildren: Ryan and Sadie Nysetvold and Caden and Kendall Seib as well as numerous other relatives. Stella was predeceased by her husband, Basil. The Memorial Service for Stella was conducted from the First Lutheran Church in Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor John Haycock officiating. Trevor Nysetvold and Tara Seib gave the eulogy. "Amazing Grace" and "The Lord's Prayer" were accompanied by soloist, Sarah Nysetvold and organist, Brenda Findlay. Interment was held in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Donations in Stella's memory may be made to Dr. Cooke Patient Comfort Fund or to a charity of the donor's choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The family of Stella would like to thank Pastor John Haycock, organist Brenda Findlay, soloist Sarah Nysetvold and Treena and Tara for doing the eulogy. Well Done! A special thanks to the Dr. Cooke Extended Care staff for the care given to Stella during her stay there. We appreciate and thank everyone who was in attendance from near and far and all who have comforted us with so many gestures of cards, flowers, donations, phone calls, visits and food.
