I grew up listening to my mom talking about her friend Bessie and how they said goodbye to each other at the train station in petawawa and she always reminded us that her godchild was deloris.
Well through the yrs without email and phone calls were very expensive mom wld write letters twice a year and wld always rec. one back....well the wonderful Xmas letter came from her beloved deloris, god she did luv that girl and took her role as a godmother very seriously, we'll after mom read the letter we were allowed to read the letter from the great deloris,
We knew we wld likely never get to st. Walberg but deloris told us if we were driving by to drop in, I still wonder where wld we be driving to.
Well in 92 or93 we rec notice that the great deloris was coming to Ontario...put the flags out. It was such a thrill for mom when deloris and dale walked in. Mom and deloris were crying for a while it was like a Walton's reunion....there comes the wod SUCKEY and oh how we lived SUCKEY and dale. One of the hardest calls i had to call deloris to tell her of moms passing.
Val and I were very sorry to hear of the passing of deloris, our hearts go out to u, I didn't realize deloris middle name was Ellen....they r together now with Bessie.
